Senior Activities Committee Meetings
Everyone's invited to be a part of planning the senior activities sponsored by parents. The parents who have already volunteered to take coordinating roles are listed above.

• The last meeting was Tuesday, March 19, at 10:00 AM at the home of Vicki and Jason Zagrodzky.

TUXEDOS FOR PROM

The Men's Wearhouse (TMW) in Barton Creek Mall is arranging tuxedos for the boys for a reasonable price. The contact there is Nicole Mendoza and her phone number is (512) 327-5771. Nicole or other TMW representatives will be coming to SSES campus during lunch hours on Wednesday April 3rd and Friday April 12th to take orders and measurements. To place an order on either of these days, students need to bring $20 cash or credit card. The balance will be due upon pick-up which will be at the store prior to prom. The cost for a standard tuxedo rental will be approximately $99. Here is the breakdown: $59.99 for Men's Wearhouse basic black jacket, white shirt, black tie, black cummerbund and black slacks, plus $20 for black dress shoes (optional), a $7 damage fee and tax. Anything students choose to order beyond the standard list above, such as colored ties, shirts, cummerbunds or a different type of jacket, will cost extra. Tuxedos must be ordered by April 27th. Orders received after that date will incur a late fee. This service is offered to both boarding and day students.

IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFORMATION

They are really graduating...and soon! In addition to shopping for "graduation whites," it's time to get organized for the big event. Our Senior Activities Committee has worked closely with the school to plan a year full of memorable activities for the Class of 2013, and they've worked hard to hold costs to $250 per student. These senior traditions will not be possible without our support!

Tues., Apr. 2	8:30 AM Senior parent trip to Marburger Farm - We will meet at St. Stephen's and plan to leave at 8:30 AM in a rented van. The trip takes about 90 minutes, which gives us from 10-2 to shop. We plan to return to St. Stephen's at about 3:30. Admission is $25.00.

Fri., May 17	8-9:00 AM Senior Novel Project Awards Ceremony in the Chapel (during 1st period). Breakfast tacos/donuts served afterwards in Helm FAC lobby.
Mon.-Wed., May 20-22	Senior Retreat at Camp Honey Creek
Tues., May 21	7:00 PM Senior parent cocktail party - While the seniors are on retreat, we're gathering in the Bowen Arts Building for a celebratory evening to toast the fabulous class of 2013 and to toast ourselves, the fabulous parents of the class of 2013!
Thurs., May 23	10:30 AM Graduation Rehearsal for seniors 6:00 PM Head of School Dinner on the Hill for seniors, parents and families 7:00 PM Senior Recognition Night in the Helm FAC for seniors, parents and families
Fri., May 24	5:00 PM Baccalaureate in the Chapel for seniors, parents and families
Sat., May 25	8:30 AM Seniors must report to library 8:30 AM Chapel will open for seating of parents and guests (seating will be ticketed, 2 seats per senior assigned by lottery, a few extra seats are available in Chapel, overflow seating under tent outdoors and in the air-conditioned Helm FAC) 8:45 AM Class picture will be taken in front of Chapel 9:30 AM Graduation of the Class of 2013 in the Chapel (Lunch offered in Dining Hall)
