Boarders make St. Stephen's World Go Round

Volente Beach...it's not Waikiki or Phuket, but it's fun! With the start of school, the population of 2900 Bunny Run swells as 168 boarders move in from all corners of the world. In addition to 28 boarders from the Austin area, there are 40 students from 30 other Texas cities from Brownsville to Amarillo, from Beaumont to El Paso, and from big cities like Houston and Dallas and small towns like Weimar in Colorado County (population 2123) and Harper in Gillespie County (population 1093). But boarders come from outside Texas as well.
